We are seeking a Manager Provider Credentialing to be responsible for the management of the practitioner/provider credentialing process and delegation activities, which are essential to the PMC practice and health plan.

In this position you will:.

  • Responsible for assuring that all departmental standards meet JCAHO, NCQA, URAC and TRICARE standards.

  • Direct and administer the credentialing process for all PMC employed and contracted providers and tracking licensure/certification for employees with patient care responsibility.

  • Serve as a primary point of liaison between contracted hospitals medical staff services.

  • Provide assistance in management of risk management cases under the direction of the corporate Risk Manager as they relate to the credentialing program.

  • Be responsible for the coordination and the set up of our active medical staff with all health plans and payers, commercial and Medicare, DSHS, L&I, etc.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or a related field. Four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.

  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC).

  • Current membership in National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).

  • Demonstrated proficiency with PC based computer skills.
