$5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Provides professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols, i.e., provides primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership nursing roles. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process when delivering care. Provides care requiring specialized skills, experience, knowledge, and demonstrated competency.

Required qualifications:

  • Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.

  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Required within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Chemotherapy certification (for Hematology-Oncology)

  • Required within 2 years of hire: Diabetes Educator Certification (additional for Diabetes Nurse Educator)

  • 1 year Recent RN experience in a patient care setting.

  • 3 years Additional for Cardiovascular: Recent experience in a setting treating cardiac patients.

  • Additional for Cardiovascular: Recent critical care experience – ICU, surgery, or ED.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Oncology Nursing Certification (for Hematology-Oncology)

  • Upon hire: IV therapy certification (for Hematology-Oncology)

  • Upon hire: CCRN Certification (for Cardiovascular)

  • Upon hire: ACCN Certification (for Cardiovascular)

  • 2 years Recent RN experience in a patient care setting.

  • Recent experience in an out-patient setting.

  • Additional for Cardiovascular: Prior experience with general Cardiology, Pacemaker Checks, Holter reading, Stress Test (Dobutamine and Nuclear).

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
