We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Infusion to be responsible for ordering, stocking, and monitoring medications delivered at Canyon Park for use in the specialty and primary care clinics.
In this position you will:
Place, receive and file medication orders into secure patient medication records system.
Manage separation/replacement of DoD inventory vs. fee-for-service inventory.
Coordinate with Ancillary Services on certain medication placement orders.
Place, receive, and sign off on stock orders for devices/supplies.
Maintain appropriate inventory par levels in designated compounding areas and in back stock supply.
Perform sterile IV admixture of low to medium risk preparations.
Clean room/hood cleaning/sanitation including cleaning, logging, and performing tests.
Order entry/queue up DUR’s for pharmacist review.
Deliver medications from pharmacy to nursing staff in infusion unit.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in IV compounding of hazardous medications/chemotherapy.
