Pacific Medical Centers Practice Manager- Federal Way Primary Care, Internal, Family Practice, Pediatrics in Federal Way, Washington

We are seeking a Practice Manager to oversee operations and physician support for our South region which includes our clinics located in Renton, Federal Way and Puyallup, along with our Behavioral Health Service line. In this role you will be responsible for profitability and clinical performance standards.

In this position you will:

  • Manage clinical staff coverage and coordinates care within the back office team to facilitate the provider/patient interaction.

  • Be responsible for the meeting performance expectations in the areas of financial performance, quality care, service excellence, access, and resource utilization in area of responsibility, which includes multiple service lines within the clinic site.

  • Span of supervision will includeadditional clinic sites where service line is located.

  • In partnership with the medical leadership, provides input into, aligns their service line with and supports the organizational strategies and initiatives.

  • In partnership with the medical leadership, provides vision and leadership for the service line.

  • In partnership with the medical leadership, develops and implements service line program plan.

  • Ensures optimal medical care quality and access within the service line.

  • In partnership with the medical leadership, optimizes services to achieve the highest levels of patient satisfaction.

  • In partnership with the medical leadership, successfully manages to organizational benchmarks in the areas of medical quality, provider productivity, utilization, service/access, and financial operations.

  • Manages and develops the support staff. Ensures effectiveness of staff training.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor degree in business admin or health services administration.

  • CPR certification within 4 months of hire.

  • Progressive supervisory experience and business development experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.

  • Understanding of Washington State regulations, licensure, and certifications laws for back office clinical positions which includes MA, RN, LPN, OA, DEXA, etc.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's degree.

  • Prior experience in Primary Care and/or Behavioral Health operation
