This is a per diem, day shift position that will rotate between our Renton, Federal Way, and Puyallup clinics.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols.
In this position you will:
Independently assess patient needs, develop a plan of care, deliver direct care, evaluate outcome of care, and adjust plan and subsequent interventions accordingly.
Conduct comprehensive educational assessments, match teaching methods to defined learning objectives, and develop teaching plans for individual patients and target population groups.
Triage patient needs, both in-person and by phone, to ensure timely access to appropriate health care services.
Function as a liaison between patients, providers and community agencies; obtain support services for patients (i.e., nursing homes, home health care agencies, visiting services and other community agencies).
Coach, instruct and act as role model for designated health care team workers.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed to practice in Washington State
Basic Life Support certification within 2 month of hire
One year recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical commensurate
Preferred qualifications for this position include :
Two (2) years recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility.
Recent prior experience in a hospital and out-patient setting.
Recent prior experience with phone triage.
