Find what you’re looking for in your career, at PacMed as a Claims Support Specialist (0.75 FTE, Day Shift) with the Uniformed Services Family Health Plan in Seattle, WA.
Assists in keeping claims, enrollment management team, and utilization management work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
In this position you will:
Photocopies and distributes claims and claims back-up documents
Files claims batches by HMO and batch number.
Maintains claims batch files for accuracy, indexing, space allocation.
Alphabetizes and files USFHP member information, by type, according to procedures for each type (accurate to procedural idiosyncrasies for type).
Produces denial letters using Access as appropriate to line of business.
Creates and maintains the Short Stay referral report.
Generates the Daily Census report, faxes, and distributes
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
High school level command of spelling, grammar, basic composition, math and/or basic vocational skills training.
Reads and comprehends instructions, records information, completes simple forms, adds and subtracts
