We are seeking a Clinical RN, Cardiology who will provide professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols, i.e., provides primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership nursing roles.
In this position you will:
Assess patient needs, develop a plan of care, delivers direct care, evaluates outcome of care, and adjusts plan and subsequent interventions accordingly.
Administers medications within the scope of registered nursing practice.
Assist Providers during cardiac procedures.
Perform continuous advanced live support monitoring during cardiovascular testing and procedures.
Collaborate with patient and family to provide appropriate patient education and discharge plan based on patient needs.
Triage patients both in person and by phone to ensure timely access to appropriate health care services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
Currently licensed to practice in Washington State.
Basic Life Support certification.
Minimum of one year of RN experience in a patient care setting.
Minimum three years recent experience in a setting treating cardiac patients.
Recent critical care experience (ICU, surgery, or ED).
Airway management/cardiac monitoring proficiency utilizing ACLS protocol
Able to recognize EKG changes during stress testing and respond appropriately
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Two plus years recent RN experience in a patient care setting.
Three to five years recent experience in a setting treating cardiac patients.
Recent critical care experience – ICU, surgery, or ED.
