The USFHP Enrollment Coordinator provides marketing, enrollment, eligibility, and financial functions for USFHP. The functions include marketing USFHP enrollment, mailing and processing enrollment applications, processing enrollment transfers, verifying eligibility through the DEERS computer system.

In this position you will:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities for USFHP enrollment. Organizes and performs enrollments, dis-enrollments, billing, and posting of fees and adjustments to ensure that they are accurate and timely. Represents USFHP to enrollees and potential enrollees as well as to Pacific Medical Centers’ staff

  • Maintains accountability for USFHP enrollment fees. Works with IS to assure accurate bills are produced. Prints and audits annual and quarterly invoices as well as quarterly past due notices. Posts all payments to correct accounts. Adjusts invoices for family additions, disenrollments, refunds, free riders, transfer credits, and purchase of Medicare Part B. Makes quarterly collection calls to delinquent enrollees.

  • Assures that auto-charging of enrollment fees occurs timely. Maintains records of auto-charging activities. Advises ISO on corrections and improvements needed in IDX accounting system for USFHP

  • Reconciles government to PMC enrollment. Responsible for assuring the government is appropriately applying policy as concerns capitation payments

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Health care business office experience with progressice responsibilities

  • US Citizenship required.

  • Required to obtain ADP 2 security status.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration.

  • Experience with DEERS/DOES.
