We are seeking an Enrollment Coordinator to be responsible for providing marketing, enrollment, eligibility, and financial functions for USFHP. The functions include marketing USFHP enrollment, mailing and processing enrollment applications, processing enrollment transfers, verifying eligibility through the DEERS computer system.
US Family Health Plan, a Department of Defense-sponsored health plan, is made available by non-profit health care providers in six designated service areas across the country, and offers the TRICARE® Prime benefit to uniformed services beneficiaries residing in those service areas.
This is a full time position and is eligible for full benefits.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities for USFHP enrollment.
Organize and perform enrollments, dis-enrollments, billing, and posting of fees and adjustments to ensure that they are accurate and timely.
Maintain accountability for USFHP enrollment fees.
Work with IS to assure accurate bills are produced.
Print and audit annual and quarterly invoices as well as quarterly past due notices.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
US Citizenship, required.
Required to obtain ADP 2 security status.
Three years of health care business office experience with progressive responsibilities.
Knowledge of USFHP program or TRICARE benefits.
Appropriate typing skills.
Proficiency in Windows, Word and Excel.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration.
Knowledge of TRICARE/CHAMPUS benefits.
Experience with DEERS/DOES.
Proficiency in Access, and PowerPoint.
