The Manager Finance provides management and leadership to ensure financial strength of Pacific Medical Centers. The Finance Manager acts as the financial liaison for operations, regulatory agencies, and other outside entities. Serves as a proactive partner is all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and decision support, as well as a technical expert for team members

In this position you will:

  • Works closely with all levels of management and staff to support strategic and operational decisions with clearly organized and communicated financial analysis and recommendations.

  • Records, classifies and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.

  • Manages processes and performs calculations to support the month close process and the generation of the monthly financial statements; Provides expertise related revenue recognition, reimbursement, monthly accruals, ad well as system and processes changes. Manages the preparation of monthly financial reporting for the PacMed.

Prepare and interpret financial studies for Pacific Medical Centers operations, including line-of-business analysis, Payor

contracting analysis, lease-purchase decisions, trend analysis, variance analysis, joint venture analysis, IBNR, Stop Loss,

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, economics, or finance

  • 2 years management experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and project management, preferably in a healthcare setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • MBA or CPA preferred
