Medical Assistant Registered - Canyon Park Respiratory at Pacific Medical Centers

The Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works under the delegation of a licensed independent practitioner(LIP- e.g. RN, APC, MD/DO) to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs will be met through both administrative and clinical duties. An MA-R is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Washington Medical Assistant Registration within sixty (60) days of hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within sixty (60) days of hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/training as a Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk.

  • One (1) year medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
