We are seeking a USFHP Member Services Representative to be responsible for providing benefit, enrollment, and eligibility information to our members and network partners.
US Family Health Plan, a Department of Defense-sponsored health plan, is made available by non-profit health care providers in six designated service areas across the country, and offers the TRICARE® Prime benefit to uniformed services beneficiaries residing in those service areas.
In this position you will:
Research plan benefits and inform members of coverage details
Accurately record and track interactions with beneficiaries and providers
Interact with members and providers to answer inquiries regarding benefits, referral or claims statuses
Assist members and providers with our complaint and grievance process
Guide beneficiaries through the appeals process
Assist members with billing or appointment access issues
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Two years of health care customer service experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Knowledge of TRICARE benefits
Knowledge of health care delivery and health insurance issues
Highly developed customer service phone skills
