This is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) position with our USFHP department and is eligible for benefits.

We are seeking a USFHP Member Services Representative to be responsible for providing benefit, enrollment, and eligibility information to our members and network partners.

In this position you will:

  • Research plan benefits and inform members of coverage details

  • Accurately record and track interactions with beneficiaries and providers

  • Interact with members and providers to answer inquiries regarding benefits, referral or claims statuses

  • Assist members and providers with our complaint and grievance process

  • Guide beneficiaries through the appeals process

  • Assist members with billing or appointment access issues

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.

  • Two years of health care customer service experience

  • Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Post-secondary education

  • Knowledge of TRICARE benefits

  • Experience in medical claims and insurance processing

  • Highly developed customer service phone skills
