Find what you’re looking for in your career, at PacMed as a at our Northgate & Canyon Park locations in Seattle, In this position you will: We are seeking a Physical Therapist - Beacon Hill Physical & Occupational Therapy Performs independent evaluations for musculoskeletal and neurological patients, formulates treatment plans and goals for all patients seen in department; performs physical therapy procedures and modalities; directs care provided by physical therapy assistants. Works at varied clinic locations as needed.

The degree of fluency required will vary depending upon the nature of the position. For direct patient care roles: Performs and maintains currency of essential competencies as required by In this position you will: • Performs physical therapy evaluations. • Interprets and manages referrals from medical providers. • Performs physical therapy procedures. • Performs physical therapy modalities. • Instructs patients on in-home programs. • Documents physical therapy evaluations and progress notes in medical charts. • Consults with other medical team members. • Participates in in-services and other staff training. • Performs billing information for physical therapy patients. • Evaluates need for assistive devices and other durable goods relating to physical therapy.
Required qualifications this position include: Education: Coursework/Training Graduate of an APTA approved physical therapy program. Coursework/Training Completion of a clinical internship. Coursework/Training Advanced training in evidence based physical therapy practice. License/Certification: • Current, permanent Washington State licensure to practice physical therapy. • BLS certification within 1 month of hire. Experience: Preferred qualifications for this position include: Education: License/Certification: • Current, permanent Washington State licensure to practice physical therapy. • BLS certification within 1 month of hire. Experience: Previous experience in ambulatory setting.
