Pacific Medical Centers Practice Manager in Seattle, Washington

We are seeking a Practice Manager to be responsible for the service line profitability and clinical performance standards of several specialties including Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Oncology, Gynecology, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center.

In this position you will:

  • Manage clinical staff coverage and coordinates care within the back office team to facilitate the provider/patient interaction.

  • Be responsible for the meeting performance expectations in the areas of financial performance, quality care, service excellence, access, and resource utilization in area of responsibility, which includes multiple service lines within the clinic site.

  • Span of supervision may include more than one clinic site where service line is located.

  • With the medical director, provides input into, aligns their service line with and supports the organizational strategies and initiatives.

  • With the medical director, provides vision and leadership for the service line.

  • With the medical director, develops and implements service line program plan.

  • Ensures optimal medical care quality and access within the service line.

  • With the medical director, optimizes services to achieve the highest levels of patient satisfaction.

  • With the medical director, successfully manages to organizational benchmarks in the areas of medical quality, provider productivity, utilization, service/access, and financial operations.

  • Manages and develops the support staff. Ensures effectiveness of staff training.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor degree in business admin or health services administration.

  • CPR certification within 4 months of hire.

  • Progressive supervisory experience and business development experience.

  • Understanding of Washington State regulations, licensure, and certifications laws for back office clinical positions which includes MA, RN, LPN, OA, DEXA, etc.
