Pacific Medical Centers Registered Nurse (RN) Certified Specialist - Madison Cardiology in Seattle, Washington

In this position you will:
Provide professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols, i.e., provide primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership nursing roles.
Utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process when delivering care.
Provide care requiring specialized skills, experience, knowledge, and demonstrated competency.
Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed to practice in Washington State
Basic Life Support certification within 3 month of hire
One year recent Regisistered Nurse experience in a patient care setting
Additional for Hematology/Oncology:
Chemotherapy certification within 6 months of hire
Additional for Cardiovascular
Recent critical care experience – ICU, surgery, or ED
Additional for Diabetes Nurse Educator
Diabetes Educator Certification required within 2 years of hire.
Preferred qualifications :
Two (2) plus years recent RN experience in a patient care setting
Experience in an out-patient setting
Additional for Hematology/Oncology:
Oncology Nursing Certification.
IV therapy certification
Additional for Cardiovascular:
Prior experience with general Cardiology, Pacemaker Checks, Holter reading, Stress Test (Dobutamine and Nuclear)
