We are seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide leadership and management for the day-to-day back office clinical operations of the site or area.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for regulatory requirements in accordance with state and federal law, as well as Medicare requirements.
Coordinate clinical staff coverage and coordinates care within the back office team to facilitate the provider/patient interaction.
Work closely with management to meet the clinic(s) performance expectations in the areas of quality care, service excellence, access, resource utilization and financial performance.
Work in collaborating clinic leadership and staff to ensure the clinic(s) meets performance expectations in the areas of medical quality, service, access, utilization and finance.
Represent clinic(s) in organizational projects and committees.
May provide direct patient care through registered nurse duties.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current WA State registered nurse license. Prefer BSN (Seven years or more of combined clinical nursing and progressive supervisory experience may be substituted for degree.
Three years progressive supervisory experience.
CPR certification within 4 months of hire.
Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Understanding of Washington State Health Care Assistant Act and Certification with the ability to train medical assistants in clinical skills and validate qualifications for the certification process.
Demonstrated ability to attend to details, prioritize and complete multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication and supervisory skills with a demonstrated ability in performance management, coaching, and staff development.
Excellent grasp of clinical and operational processes; support staff licensure and certification and scope of proactive concepts.
Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Ambulatory care experience.
