We are seeking a Senior Clinical Operations Director to provide leadership and oversight for clinic operations at multiple sites. This director will be responsible for setting expectations in the areas of medical quality, service access, utilization, finance, productivity and operational excellence. This director will also support the Medical Directors in improving and maintaining physician productivity and service quality as well as represent the clinics in organizational projects, committees and initiatives.
In this position you will:
In conjunction with the Medical Directors and Service Line Director, develop the annual clinic budget at each site and ensure it is used as an effective management tool.
Be accountable for the financial success of the clinic and achievement of financial goals.
Assure provider compliance with the charge capture process and coding.
Manage all clinic expenses, assures productivity levels consistent with clinic profitability.
Ensure front and back office compliance with the revenue cycle and billing of supplies and services.
Provide daily leadership in the clinic sites to achieve the highest levels of patient and employee satisfaction.
Participate in PMC and Clinic leadership committees, projects, and functions.
Ensure compliance in the clinic sites with the performance management system and progressive discipline as needed in accordance with the organization’s policy and Union contract.
Serve as a mentor to clinic management staff and ensures compliance with State and organizational policies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field from an accredited institution
Master’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum ten (10) years of health care experience
Minimum three (3) years of clinic operations director experience with P&L responsibility
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Minimum seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience
Minimum five (5) years of ambulatory care experience
