The Supervisor Coding and Charge Capture will monitor the daily production of the Coding and Charge Capture team and assigns work files and projects as well as work with the Revenue Cycle Integrity Analyst to provide education to Providers and Ancillary Clinic Staff.

This is a full time position and is eligible for full benefits!

In this position you will:

  • Strengthen the CPT and ICD-9/10 coding associated with the billing of all services through instructional classes.

  • Optimize reimbursement from third parties for service through accurate coding and ensure appropriate medical record documentation supports billed charges.

  • Develop policies, procedures and training materials related to the education and compliance of all staff levels.

  • Act as an organization-wide resource for coding, documentation, charging and billing questions.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of three years of health care coding experience in a multi-specialty physician group practice

  • Previous lead or supervising experience

  • CPC Certification

  • Coding Auditor Certification required within 6 months of obtaining this position

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate’s Degree in Health Care Administration/Management or a related field

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration/Management or a related field
