Pacific Medical Centers Supervisor USFHP Member Services and Enrollment ($2K Sign On Bonus) in Seattle, Washington

Find what you're looking for as a Supervisor USFHP Member Services and Enrollment (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Uniformed Services Family Health Plan at Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle, Washington.

$2K Sign On Bonus. $1,000 payout at the time of hire and $1,000 at the anniversary date of 12 months

This role requires a deep understanding of managed care systems, and that a well-managed plan must have as its foundation high-performing member services and enrollment departments. Effective communication and team-building skills and a working knowledge of managed care and health plan contracts are critical, as are good judgment and decision-making skills. Experience in overseeing customer service operations and/or enrollment processing are important. This position will supervise staff responsible for processing enrollments and premium payments, and staff who provide benefit eligibility and claim and referral information to members and providers.

In this position you will:

  • Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Member Services and Enrollment departments. Meets operational performance standards established by USFHP policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for new caregiver orientation and training.

  • Designs and ensures implementation of procedures and forms to accomplish tasks effectively and efficiently.

  • Acts as the main liaison to USFHP for all member services and enrollment inquiries from our external customers, such as members, providers, the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Department of Defense (DoD).

  • Establishes and maintains a cooperative working relationship with USFHP staff.

  • Monitors the flow of incoming member and provider inquiries to ensure they are processed in a timely manner by the appropriate member services representative or enrollment coordinator.

  • Responsible for auditing and ensuring compliance with turnaround time of member services and enrollment deliverables.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • 5 years of experience in a managed care environment, health plan, or general healthcare administration

  • 5 years of experience in a customer service position in the healthcare field

  • U.S. citizenship

  • ADP II security clearance

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare administration, business administration or an equivalent area

  • 5 years of experience in a customer service position in an HMO setting
